We continued the Cove Creek tradition of a neighborhood Halloween party this year on our side of the road...we had an awesome bouncy barn, a fabulous hayride for the kids, a wonderful fire pit to keep warm, and more food than you can imagine! Unforunately, we spent the afternoon at the pediatrician's office with two sick kids...Calder had a horrible ear infection that wasn't responding to antibiotics and G was fighting off something with a super high fever the day before...he perked up for a while when he saw the bouncy barn but wasn't his usual fun loving self and had to retire inside for most of the party!! He did decide to do a round of trick-or-treating after dark and devoured lots of chocolate goodies before bed!! Next year we are hoping for children that feel better but this year we are thankful that they are both on the mend and doing great!
