A Day at the Beach

A Day at the Beach
Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Philipians 4:8

Christmas Eve...

We spent the day at my grandmother's house...Graeme enjoyed lots of attention and lots of wonderful presents...

He has been asking for a jack-in-the-box for a month now and Uncle Jon and Kelsey bought him the cutest sock monkey jack-in-the-box ever...unfortunately, Graeme hated him. He wouldn't let us touch it, as it was "his" he said, and he told us he was "putting him up" and put him on the dining room table. We loved to antagonize him and would go get "jack" and start winding...G would immediately run over and tell us "its mine, put him up, and don't touch him" and back to the table Jack would go!

He also got a wonderful guitar that he loved to perfom with, wonderful Thomas the Train gloves and hat, and a beaver...yes, just what every child needs, a beaver! We all had a great laugh at the expense of the beaver before Graeme moved on to open more toys...

We loved spending time with Uncle Jon whom Graeme calls, Josh, Juice, and Patah...the child can say mustache, delicious and many other hard words but refuses to say Jon!! We love hearing him tease his uncle and Patah makes us all smile!

Graeme enjoyed helping Mimi and Poppa open thier gifts as well and they seemed to love the new camera that we bought him...and hour later there were over a hundred pictures of G on the new camera...

Graeme enjoyed some special time with his great grandmother, Boo, showing her his new bulldozer, trackhoe, dumptruck, and no telling what else!!

Unfortunately, when we got home our sweet dog Charlie got out of the house and crossed the road, as I called her to come home a car came down the road and hit her...it was the worse moment of my life so far, but we are still thanking God for Christmas miracles...after an hour at the emergency vet, xrays showed that our sweet girl had no broken bones or internal bleeding and is currently in the hospital being treated for shock and pain and we can't wait to bring her home!
