Time flies when you are having fun...or sleep deprived and exhausted...or a combination of both! I can not believe our little girl is one month old. She is pure joy and has a sweet little personality until you make her mad or ignore her requests!! She has been a great sleeper so far for us usually averaging a four hour stretch followed by a consistent three more hours which actually allows me to get a few hours of good sleep! We have had a few fussy nights but they are rare and we are THANKFUL! We have introduced a bottle to her and she has no problem taking one from anyone and she takes two ounces of formula before bed to help her sleep just a bit longer!! She HATES a pacifier and immediately lets us know this if we try to give her one, she loves to be bounced to sleep, and hates to be rocked!! She sleeps beside my bed in a snuggly moses basket and likes to nap in her swing!! She is finally big enough to wear most of her newborn clothes and is growing so fast!! One of Calder's characteristics that we could do without is the breath-holding that she does when she gets really mad!! She will scream so loud and hold her breath that she turns blue! It terrified us at first but now we know she'll eventually get over it and calm down!! We all adore our new addition and have enjoyed "almost" every second of our first month with her!! We couldn' t be more thankful for our little angel!
