Yesterday was Graeme's 9 month well visit with Dr. Ellis. Our boy is right on tracking...meeting all his milestones and growing steadily. Graeme weighed in at 24.1 pounds, was 30 inches long, and had a head circumference of 48 centimeters! He is in the 90th percentile for weight, 85th percentile for length, and 95th percentile for head size...needless to say our boy is B-I-G! Dr. Ellis wants us to introduce whole milk and wean him off formula at 11 months. He also wants him off the bottle by his first birthday! We're working on associating the words he can say like "da da" "hey" "da (dog)" "mama" to who or what they go with. We are also trying to teach Graeme to point at objects, wave "hey" and "bye bye." We've got a long way to go but we're having fun learning!!
On a side note...Chase was proactive last night and tried to give Graeme his nightly "bottle" in a sippy cup!! Graeme was not to pleased about this and dealt daddy a fit or two!! Go Chase for trying!! We're going to start phasing out his lunch bottle first and go from there!!!
Graeme started Mother's Morning Out this morning at 9:00...stay tuned for pictures and an update this afternoon after I go get him!
Good luck with the sippy cup, we are still having a hard time finding one that Grant will take.
