The oil made it to Orange Beach the day before we did. Here are a few shot from the public pier in Gulf Shores. My heart breaks for the people on the gulf that depend on the water and tourism to make a living...I hope BP finds a way to get this tragic mess cleaned up quickly.
The pubic beach is deserted. The nasty brown on the water line is oil.
Its never a good thing to see tractors on the beach.
This picture was taken from the pier...and there was lots more oil than could be captured by a camera. Its history in the making...
