A Day at the Beach

A Day at the Beach
Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Philipians 4:8

My Little Elf...

This little elf keeps me on my toes...like Sam, our "Elf on the Shelf," you never know where you will find Calder. She seems to have his magic powers too...turn your head and she has magically climbed halfway up the stairs, or is pulling down the Christmas tree, or unwrapping presents, or emptying cabniets...you just never know. But what I do know is how grateful I am for my children. After the Sandy Hook tragedy on Friday it makes a mom grateful to have messes to clean, little ones to feed, bottles to wash, diapers to change and children to hold. My heart breaks for each and every family member and friend of the victims and pray that someway somehow this holiday season they find a glimmer of hope to fill the emptiness in their hearts.
